The staff told us they will prepare extra bed for free but they didnt do it on the day. And told us that theres no more bed

As always, I enjoy Richmond for its location and amenities. Has everything you need plus I enjoy the breakfast!

The breakfast cooking in the same area as the dining makes your clothes and hair smell so oily...

Breakfast was the best of several hotels we stayed at. I liked the local focus for several of the menu options. It gave me some of the character of the region. The prices were so reasonable we could get our god-daughter her own room.

As usual, I like the location, the amenities, overall the hotel is ok. Rooms are spacious enough, although as any room in Japan, not too big. Breakfast is also ok, good options. I liked the ice cream during the daytime.

Cooking food on the spot in the breakfast area makes your clothes smell nasty! You would make a very big mistake if you change in your street clothes before going to breakfast, you're going to smell like oily food all day long.

Dusty air purifier. Damaged bathroom mirror. Uncomfortable hard pillow. The smokers room smells like an ashtray.

Its close proximity to the train station and to the places we went to nearby made our holiday even better, didn't disappoint me and my sister. The staff member who assisted us in using the self check-in machine was very helpful. Our room had a good space and bathroom was squeaky clean. The best of all, was the breakfast and the free ice cream/drinks we enjoyed and greatly appreciated the hospitality.

The hotel is gorgeous, they have an ICE-CREAM machine *screaming*! The staff is so friendly and accommodating, in the hotel and those helping with the parking- very lovely. But the rooms are filthy filthy, from the bathroom to the bedroom, it’s just so dirty and uncomfortable. Please clean the rooms, if it wasn’t for that, this would’ve been a 10/10 experience because even the location of the hotel is A1.

The location was great, very close to the train station. The hotel was clean. They offer free drinks and icecream and amenities were provided at the lobby. Staff were polite.

The place is near to yamagata station and lots of convinece store there. Also the lounge at 2nd floor provide free coffee, tea and ice cream for the whole day.That was superb.??

The hotel provides free coffee, soft drinks and ice cream every day. Large room with clean environment. The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the Yamagata JR station.

Friendly staff, clean room and free flow of coffee and ice cream. There is Max Value behind the hotel.

The room and bathroom size was good and the beds were comfortable. The lounge area was nice with the free drinks in the afternoon. We had enough place for the luggage at the entry area. Everything was clean except behind the curtains.

I had to clean the windowsill because something was poured on it and it was sticky, and I had to throw out some trash from the previous guest from there too. The window was also a bit dirty.

The proximity was great and the room very comfortable. Most hotels have smaller rooms but we felt the space was bigger to fit luggage and not feel so cramped.

I only wish it had a public bath.
